Making sure the pointy end of the rod is facing away from your body, carefully.

Screw the threaded cap back onto the spinner rod to secure.

Loosen the toggle to create a loop that will accommodate the fruit or vegetable.

Step 2 - Chicken Slider

Slide one end of your vegetable through the open loop and slide the toggle back down snuggly.

Step 3 - Chicken Slider

Now your slider is ready to hang for your flock to enjoy. A shepherd's hook is a wonderful support for a the slider or spinner.
